You are being watched ... retailers, crooks , government, and other shady individuals are tracking your movements. Even if your Wi- Fi is turned off , your phone can not be diffuse information to anyone who is in the range that can be used both to track repeat visits to your exact and in an area under surveillance movements.
This is not a big step to couple this personal information - for example, a retailer could follow your trip to register and correlate with your payment information . Now , suppliers of hardware and software monitoring , the store (or chain ) owner , business partners , they can now all tracks where you are whenever you come within range of one of their systems , and fully profile who you are, what you do , your finances and your daily habits !
This is just one example, but there are many uses for you to follow . Make no mistake , what happens in today in the real world .
Pry -Fi
One solution is to turn off Wi -Fi completely (including network scanning background , bet most people do not know ) but you lose benefits like auto-connect to known Wi -Fi networks and a better knowledge of the location of your applications. There is also nothing to help the situation for the other .
Pry -Fi will prevent your device to announce all networks it knows about the outside world , but it will still allow scanning background and automatically connect to Wi -Fi networks. While you are not connected to a Wi -Fi network, the MAC address will consistently pseudo- random, following a model that always trackers think you are a real person, but they do not meet your MAC address again . This slowly poison their database monitoring useless information
When you connect to a Wi -Fi network, unless otherwise specified, your MAC address is also randomized - . The same MAC address will not be used the next time you connect to this or any other network.

course the companies involved in these trackers say they would not use malicious data , the possibility is there , and we all know that if something can be abused , ultimately it will be . It still does not seem to be any laws against these practices, it is unlikely Wi -Fi will be redesigned so early to get rid of information leaks . But we can
make to reduce the usefulness of monitoring data for the exploiters . Lift -Fi comes with a war mode that , when activated tries to make your Android device appear as dozens of people.
