Google launches Android One in Philippines
Google Android One press of the Philippines expanded offering Low costs of devices running the latest version of Android out of the box.
Google is launching together with local entrepreneurs Cherry Mobile and MyPhone for Android One's in the Philippines, after the debut of the diagrams in India last year. Both operators will be an Android handset One each release. One
Android phones will go on sale in the Philippines in the "coming weeks", according to Google, but prices have not yet been revealed. Nevertheless, in the spirit of One Android, Google promises are affordable and come with Android Lollipop.

models of Cherry Mobile and MyPhone Uno will both have a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, a MediaTek Cortex A7 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, dual SIM slots, a front-facing camera with a two-megapixel sensor and a reversing camera with a five-megapixel sensor, and a 1700mAh battery. The Philippines is the sixth nation Google Android One taken, following the launch in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and most recently Indonesia.
Last month, Google began selling One Android handsets in Indonesia through local partners Evercoss, Mito, and Nexian.
The Android-One devices in Indonesia were the first to carry Android 5.1 as its own Nexus devices, even Google's had the update.
As with previous launches, Google is working with local mobile networks in the Philippines to offer free mobile data for Android updates and app downloads. The devices also come with a reply YouTube and Chrome browser data compression.
